Call for Papers

The Munich Young Economists invite contributions to the Inaugural Munich Young Economists’ Meeting (MYEM) to be held from June 12th–14th, 2019, in Kochel am See (near Munich). The MYEM is designed for current PhD students and postdocs and invites contributions that try to uncover causal mechanisms using both empirical and theoretical methods.

We are delighted to announce that Maria Guadalupe of INSEAD Paris and Aniko Öry of Yale School of Management will give keynote addresses at the MYEM 2019.

We encourage young researchers to submit completed drafts as well as extended abstracts (3–4 pages). The MYEM will feature both presentations and poster sessions.

Applications should be submitted to munec-yem@econ.lmu.de by Friday March 1st, 2019. Notices of acceptance will be sent out in March.
